When I told him I had Scooby, he said haven't you peak a bit early. I asked him what did he mean. Which he replied well what you replace this car with that is better and you don't need to be lottery winner to run. This got me wondering what would I replace my current car with if anything happened to it (God forbid)? what would your choice be?

What are you looking to do? (track days that sort of thing) I've got Project mu HC+, I really like them, scared a few BMW drives with them. They will cope with 0 to 800 degrees, so should cope with tracks days. down side is the squeak when move in traffic and they cover alloy with dust, although, it is easily wash off.

Oil is a hot topic with Scoobies, but I use Silkolene pro S 10w50 (may be over the top), with a subaru oil filter from Walldonway in Larkfield, £13 pounds tho'. I think the oil Subaru say to use is 10w40 semi syn.

Well the leak is back not new drain plug order from Subaru.. for £14 but I don't think it is that But the good news is that RCM do a rad for 167 inc. VAT better than Subaru £300 for one I am sure tho' it is not the pipe no signs of leaks around then
