Is part of the problem the huge power available too? I remember when we had a GTE astra, and a 1.2 (about -20 bhp) corsa, the corsa was much better at hills in the snow, because the astra just had too much power, whereas the corsa was not so liable to spin. S.

Can you feel the patchy ice on the road when you are accelerating? Thats what I want to know...

This'll be my first winter with the impreza, where I live it's hilly, and curvy, and icy! When I had my passat I knew when it was icy because the wheelspin was mad. I assume patchy ice will be harder to spot with the 4wd? Any tips? S.

Just got my Terzo, but cant see the unique number on it anywhere. Where should the number plaque be? I presume it has disappeared over time.... If it has disappeared, is there any other way of finding out the number? Thx s.
