  1. i currently have good year eagle f1 like alot of people on here, but i had normal bridgestone RE50's before and to be honest i had to to push the car to its limits and then some to notice any "real" difference in performance.....yes it was better but not "omg this is so good i must run out and tell everyone" moral of the story is if you drive your car like you stole it 90% of the time then get eagle F1 if your 50/50 then just get bridgestone
  2. my car has been doing this all week because its always been -5 or there abouts it is very little when the car is fully warmed but i still notice it out the mirror when stationary

  6. i saw it on wednesday with the mrs it was a good film but i was not blown away by it to be honest was full of action and good acting.........but i dunno it was just missing something to make it stand it out if you know wat i mean........star trek is the best film i seen this year!!!........however im looking forward to the new transformers film that should be epic
  7. i got rear brembo pads from my STI http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=131704
  8. i owned a mazda rx8 230bhp for a year it was a good laugh and i hear what your saying about the torque you need to get the revs up or drop 2 gears sometimes to get the power, i now have a STI PPP which has 300bhp and torque by the bucket loads and i can tell you it is night and day performance wise its not just the straight line speed its the amount of speed it goes round corners thats much better, i urge you strongly to go out and testdrive a 2003-onwards STI with ppp if you can and you can get one with 60k on clock for 9k because i did and its mint. where do you live??? im sure someone will come and take you out in theres if your close to them oh and to answer your question my STI ppp (300bhp) in 1st and 2nd gear full power does push you back into the seat but its not holy crap my stomach its more........yip i made the right call here this is fast...... this is fast!!!......oh crap copper with speed gun.........<<good story that
  9. im with admiral i got 4 year ncb and its my name my policey and i got my 23 year old gf on it so she can drive it to the shops whenever she feels like it lol
  10. m8 i think thats really high im 23 and have a STI PPP and im £600 and i have no points and you are much much older than me unless you stay somewhere that is as lawless as iraq that qoute is crazy
  11. i owned a normal rx8 230 for a year was a good laugh but had absoultely no torque at all but once u got it going was a hoot, in the rain it was alot of fun just powerslided everywhere if u turned the traction control off. plus it looked pretty good bad points mpg was crazy i was getting 18mpg on a good day!!! and oil consumption was a joke and i wouldnt want one with more than 60k on the clock i have my doubts about them lasting long with high mileage however if you want 230bhp and like to rev the nuts off things then its the car for you. but be under no illiusion a standard scoob wrx would have no trouble keep up with it and showing it a thing or 2 in the corners, but i must admit the rx8 does look better going sideways..............
  12. 23 years old car is BLOB EYE STI PPP with my 23 year old gf on it i got 4 years ncb £600 not bad for my age
  13. with car insurance its like a lucky dip sometimes when you go compareing the quotes its madness some of the prices but it all depends where the car is kept and your postcode im 23 years old stay in a nice bit of renfrew that is not on fire much i have written off a car when i was a lad 18, <<<good story that never been caught speeding/drinking or anything like that car is in a garage and tracker is active and my car is a STI PPP and im £600 for the year with admiral my name my policey with no lying at all and my 23 year old gf is on it aswell
  14. i had a honda civic type R (ep3) for a year was great fun and i pushed it to the limit loads of times and i can say from experince on a country road with fairly longish straights and corners it does not have a hope in hell in keeping up with my STI PPP its just a diff league good fun though i wouldnt be upset if i got given a shot of one again
