  16. just looking for some info on a powering problem i have with my impreza, when i got it 4 months ago it was fine until i put a dump valve in and started getting power problems like lack of power so i had the dv in and out the car about six times trying to fix it until a gave up on it and put the factory one back in since it has been back in about 2 months the car lacks power especially second gear and fith gear alot on the motorway the only way i can describe it is that its like and old car when the distributor gets water in it and it start lagging.it dosent do it all the time some days its no propblem others it is really bad could it be the factory dv sticking and im losing boost the turbo sounds like its spooling up ok,the problem has only ben since the dump valve has been in and out my car,any idea would be appreciated thanks. willie
