Im new to the world of scooby. Heres my story. For the past 6 months i have owned a mitsubishi FTO GPX. Which i love. Was built in 95 so its starting to show its age. so ive been looking for a new car. Ive been looking at civic type R's etc for a few months but last weekend i went on a Rallying track day. All i can say is OMG. I drove and new Evo and a new WRX STI. Both i loved. very fast and great to drive. So i came home and started looking at prices. I love the look of the new Evos but the older one imo dont look so good. So i think a scooby is for me. plus readying a few posts it seems that evo cost more to keep going in service costs etc, correct me if im wrong.
Ive been looking around and with 7.5k i think i can get a 2001 wrs sti with about 50k on the clock. Does this sound about right? Ive been reading post and FAQ but there seem like ALOT of versions out there. What would you guys recommend for my budget and why?
