Thanks Stephen, your assistance is much appreciated. The garage doing the repairs say the only part they might struggle with is the rear offside flared arch/fender. The damage is minimal as both the Corsa and I were stationary. She happened to turn on the ignition (with the gear engaged) and rear ended me......twice! I know, what a nugget! Anyway, the bumper has shifted up on the rear offside, popping out at the arch which in turn ripped the fibreglass arch off the car. It does look as though it may be salvagable, but I'll need to wait for word back from the garage. I suppose I could really invest in a new front splitter as well anyway. Few hairliners in the current one!

Hi all. I'm getting works done to the car after a young Corsa driver rear ended me ! I was told from the previous owner that the car had been shipped from Japan with the kit already on it. Can anyone help me find the manufacturer of the flared arches and bodykit? It would be much appreciated. Thanks, Darren.

Right. Had her at Mackie Transmissions today (who are regarded as the best in the business) and they quoted me at just over £2k. With just over 3 weeks since the birth of my beautiful wee girl, I feel the time may have come for me to part with my love.

OK. Strathclyde Gearbox Services didn't deal with autos, but did recommend Top Gear in Cathcart Place, Kings Park. Quote (over the phone without taking a look) came in at £980 plus VAT!!!!!!!!!! OMG! I've got a noose at the ready. Surely somone out there knows of someone who can spare my life?

Hi all, For the last 2 days my AUTOMATIC gearbox has been playing up. 1st and second gear work perfectly, but anything above seems to go into neutral and the rev climbs without any kind of pull being felt from the car. Has ANYONE got experience with automatics who can assist. Would be hugely grateful. Cheers, Teo.

Well hello ladies and gents. Just thought I'd let you all know that I became a proud father of a wee baby girl last night. Wee Natalia was born around 10:30pm after my girlfriend, Ashley, had her waters broken at 11:30am. Not too bad a labour I suppose. I'm soooooooooooo chuffed so I am!

Sorry, won't be able to attend. The missus is due on the 11th of October and could really go in to labour anytime now! Will be thinkin' of the big chap, son and all families involved come Sunday.
