whats the best way to clean an engine if u dont own a steam cleaner?

i do like the drive along that road!!!! went along there 1st day i got my car as i had to take it to rampage in cirencester

would be cross country via tetbury and cirencester will try my best to get over the mate

i hope so, i dont finish work til about 6-6.30 then i have to go home (near yate) quick wash and travel over. so i should be there, maybe a little late though!!
