i think the nur spec wins it for me
-

Just what's been said already mate, and it's obviously had a good spray etc. to get all the salt and road grime off it?
Depending on how long you are storing it I would think about giving it a roll out and maybe a short run round the block every few weeks to get it all up to temperature and keep things free, and clean up the discs. Alternatively give the discs a good wipe with oil and keep an eye on them.
Basically just keep everything clean, don't leave the handbrake on, and don't let it think it's staying there forever! Good opportunity to tinker with a few bits and bobs yourself if you feel like it.
Cheers.
this is sound advice i done this with my classic last year stored it for 6 months

rcm swear by the six speed box anyway back to the subject ciaran you will need to change the box and the six speed box will be sufficient enough for you or a p1 box and rear diff another alternative
-
so why has jac,s not broken yet
-
the 6 speed box will take 600 bhp so you are on the right path not that you are going for the big 6.s lol
-
your gearbox will **** it,s self with that power m8
-
this will help you out all you have to check is the gear ratios match and you are fine according to the chart you will be fine all you have to do is bolt the gearbox on no need to change the diff i was in a similar situation with my uk turbo the only gerabox you cant fit unless you change the diff is the p1 diffrent ratios again

yes dunkin i was going to sell up but had second thoughts so i just began modding it i am still after a p1 at some point when i get bored with the sti. regrds jamie
-
charlie you would be mad not to take advantage of the upgrades you can buy for power lets face it what is the difference from 340 to 400 get the wife told the car is all about having fun you can still use the car as a ordinary runner and have the best of both worlds go for it
-
i will get there in the end it,s coming into winter anyway so i will aim for next summer as i want to fit a 2.5 forged block with the 20g that should make for a nice road car then maybe lose some weight
-
