Mate of mine with a uk turbo x plate 53k miles failed its mot on brake pipes and rear bulb holder above the plate knackered can't afford to fix it good car offered me it for a swap of my Saxo vtr circa 600 quid worth on a good day and £500 his way! Was tempted but prefer my wrx! Plus the wife would kill me!! Neil

My car is off the road at the mo planning on it going back on about the end of feb but its been stood for about 5 months now it's gets the battery back in it weekly started up moved around the block etc but that's it The problem is I've noticed a lot of dampness appearing wet windows etc what can I do to combat this? Tubs of rice etc heater? Neil

I've been working up north for a while sometimes staying away or driving it daily and I really hate the two average speed camera parts to the road ( coming from Livingston) I travel it right on the button of 40 mph but there is always numerous people flying by me! No the never charged me baz didn't think they would it was there attitude that sort of peed me off it's a citroen so these will happen as you say you or any other mechanic won't intentionally make a car over heat it was the whole how dare you bring a shitty car like that in here!! Booked my wee Saxo in for an mot this afternoon in the local garage Been using this car back and forward from st Andrews Oban etc etc runs sweet never overheats etc etc get a phone call from the garage saying they had to abandon the test as it overheated and spat itscoolant over the floor ! I pick the car up pissed off saying "it's never overheated before" get it home drives ok let it sit in the drive and the fan kicks in no problems rev it etc still does not over heat!! I hate taking my car to garages need to find a nice obestill yet to though! Sorry rant over! Neil
