got all these bases covered apart from needing more wd40 used a whole can so far and still no budge cant run the car as ive got the intercooler and a couple of air hoses out the road but the mechanic friend has breaker bar torch etc so should be good hope all goes well if i get the nuts loose!!! cheers neil

well got my decat from gus this week and tried to fit it today. spent about an hour taking out the intercooler heat sheilds etc only to get stuck by 4 out of the five bolts from the turbo to the old downpipe anybody got any tips got my mechanic mate coming to help tomorrow morning but if there is any hints i would reall y appreciate it cheers neil

ill give him a big up too as he's sorted my exhaust problem top man neil

well my cat finally gave up the ghost today so need a new one asap thought i best buy new as then it wont need changed again so could anybody recomend anywhere that woulkd do a supply and fit service for a 92 wrx going to give extreme in whitburn a call in the morning neil

the livingston one is fine if there is only about 5 or 6 of you only takes 18 sec a lap when your really going for it neil

Just got my insurance renewal through this morning not due till the 16th of feb so plenty of time well last year i paid just over the 400 mark for my 92 wrx with a couple of mods declared (wheels spoiler exhaust etc) i thought was ok! well let me tell you this ive got 4 years no claims now best ive ever had! not changed the car in anyway worth a little less not changed personal deatails ie job home etc so how come my new insurance quote is £577.68 what a lot of ssssh!t looking for a new quote as we speak neil

keep it mate do you have anypics of the damage and is it off the car? if it is and you can get it through to livngston or near ill get it fixed mate neil

i can maybe manage the ecu reset locate and fit the sensor but what i would like to know is what is knock and how has the engine decided to feck this sensor? neil

another update: got a code reading of 22 so its a new knock sensor so its not that bad i suppose just need to find where it is and get one fitted!! neil

i see the yellow sport all the time i work in east mains so you may see my silver classic sometimes neil

update: ive just found and read the article in an earlier thread about connecting the read connectors i take it these are under the dash at the steering colum? neil

my cel has came on in my 92 wrx going for its mot on monday too car has been sitting for about a week without being started has always been fine not really missed a beat in the 18 months ive had it it needs a service and a small hole in the exhaust at the cat section needing patched just wondered if there could be anyything else and how do i find out what is wrong with it before i need to take it to a garage thanks neil

spotted this in todays record colin's subaru legacy he drove to win the british rally in is up for sale next month at auction going for a mere 100k neil

should be easy enough a renewed mine no probs and i got the bulbs from maplins web site they are called grain of rice bulbs and come in most colours neil

yours will need one soon enough i dont mind driving an older car just sometimes you have to laugh at the mot guys some of the **** they talk when your cars up on the ramp neil

well done ive got mine next month its the same old things with mine emissions fog light especially the fog light made one last year to sit inside the rear brake light part of the lense it was working checked today and its not ill need to rewire it maybe neil

and its blue!!! not!!! neil

you are normal and everybody should do the same my car aint worth a lot of money or anything but its mine and intend it to stay that way it just creeps you out that you could be going about your daily business and these people could be watching you and your movements all to steal a car neil
