About Rudds

  1. i changed the oil on my classic today and used Silkolene 15w50
  2. 2000 classic, full exhaust, front mount, wheels, suspension all declared, forgot to tell them about the uprated turbo 2 years no claims, 3 points for sp30, 27 years old with my mum added as second driver £580 fully comp, £200 excess with Adrian Flux Saved nearly £300 just by adding my mum onto the policy
  3. I know this is gonna sound like a funny question but has anyone tried or know if it is possible to fit seats from an evo into a classic? would i need new runners or could the ones come off my old seats. a few of my mates have evos and the seats feel as if they hold you in place a bit better. are the new age sti's anything like that? was also looking at sparco seats but not sure how i'd get on with not being able to recline the seats Thanks Tom
  4. Im with Adrian Flux, cheapest i could get it was £630 with most mods declared and i'm 27 with 2 years no claims
  5. I would have said Adrian Flux, im 27 and pay £630 will all mods declared. Think the cheapest i had when i was 24 was with Bell and all i had was a full exhaust and paid £1300 and that was with 6 points. Think insurance in general has gone up in the last few years Tom
  6. After seeing to new scooby today, it has definatly grown on me. Especially after seeing the black Lichfield one. Not quite so keen on the blue one though.
  7. I have a turbo timer on mine. Told the insurance about it too along will all the other mods i have done. Premium has gone up a bit but i'd rather have it convered incase i need to make a claim. The hks one was pretty easy to fit too

  9. i went to work there for a few days and took the scoob for a spin. just over 2 hours each way though
  10. Hi dan, this is only personal experience but i would go for the apexi induction kit. I've got that fitted to mine. I had the blitz kit on my mr2 but then changed it for the apexi after receiving recomendations. A few mates of mine have had hks or blitz in the past and have all changed to apexi.
  11. today will be my 5th time this year. i took it quite easy on my first 2 runs when i went the first time and then just went for it on the 3rd. after that you just get use to it
  12. haven't filled up here for a while so hopefully it won't be too expencie here
  13. Go for the P1. Or you can buy mine and i'll get one lol
