so mant people have sat me down and tried to explain these to me and im slowly getting my head around it. first of all what one does my car have?? its a 1999 uk turbo wagon (think its called a turbo 2000)??? I like a nice loud, sharp sounding D.V but as im fairly new to subaru whats the opinion on them? Cool or Not Cool? If it turns out that i wont get laughed at for liking to take a noisy dump now and again, anyone have one that will fit my car and might sell? Davie

i had two insurance companies battling it out Tesco and RAC! tesco beat the quote rac had offered which was the best so far then rac beat tesco im 25 with a 99 turbo payin, i think its £680 Fully comp give them a try? Davie

its got a decent alarm first of all full stainless system, high flo air filter , platnum plugs, not much but its a start

in the light cover of snow we had last week i was tempted to have some car park fun, anyone know what the power distribution is to the front and back wheels? eg 60% to the front 40% to the rear or 50/50 just so i can find out wether its going to be tail happy if we get any more snow. Davie

When my car is warmed up and i m giving a bit of welly, i notice a slight smell of matches. it is only when the turbo is on so im guessing thats where the smell is coming from, any ideas? (99 impreza).

I was overtaken by a fellow impreza driver yesterday, he seemed to be in a bit of a rush. There were 3 cars infront of me and as soon as there was a tiny gap in the traffic there was a huge cloud of white smoke and then he vanished.... im not sure if this was a magic trick dissapearing from behind the smoke of if this is normal for a turbo car but i have never seen this amount of smoke from the back of a car. is this normal?? Hey guys n galls, First of all congrats on the web site, Awsome!! Im Davie, 25 and have a passion for anything with an engine! I got my first impreza 4 months ago and love everything about it, i spent about 6 months looking for the right one for me as there are so many to choose from. Its a 1999 turbo wagon, standard when i got it! I have big plans for this car but as my girlfriend isn't keen on re-mortgaging the house to fund it i have to start off small LOL. Full stainless system (subtle, not too loud), air filter, plugs, ye no the usual.Maybe next month i look into gettin it remapped? I am lookin forward to meetin you guys n galls and spendin some time chattin about well, shit really, LOL. maybe next month come out a wee cruise if any are arranged?
