I am just finalizing the last few details with greer sport in regards to my new engine so does any 1 have any ideas on which turbo i should go with.Greer are recommending the owen developments garret bb turbo which is a variation of the gt30 Oh its going on a modified 2.5 bottom end and im aiming for around the 450hp mark with scope to go 500hp

Yip just got the quote back R.I.P wallet right enough! But as you said it will be some engine to look forward to because im addicted to speed it's costing a fortune.[au][li][}]

3.2 whats this? I am going with a jdm spec 2.5 bottom end with forged pistons,conrods and competition bearings ,with a garret turbo either the same as on Peter's car or a gt30 and all the other trimmings to suit

Ding dong the witch is dead.Just spoke to greer sport i have dropped a piston and blown a hole in the crank casing which has burst the breethers off just like an air line going off.So R.I.P engine number 1[:'(] And the injectors were the 500cc 1s which are rated for around 400 Greer sport here i come i am awaiting a quote later today.

Im hoping its this simple as it would still have drove a little if i had pushed it but i did not want to do any more damage and i was on fire! (put it out with a 2 litre bottle of irn bru)

55psi as set by andy when he tuned it and its a greddy 1 And no the car still had a little power and was still able to drive all be at a very limited pace.It cut out though as soon as i took it out of gear

The car is a 2002 wrx and no it gets a good seeing to once in a while but no not really Mods- 3 inch exhaust from turbo back,Turbo up pipe,Manifolds changed,bigger bosch fuel pump,20g turbo,fuel pressure regulator,boost regulator,sti pink injectors running at 100% when on full boost,ecutek remap,cooler running plugs, Large tmic

Hi tonight on the way to the ayrshire meet my car blew up and then went on fire because of oil on the exhaust.I was out overtaking a few cars giving it a bit of boot when at 6500rpm it made a weird noise my oil light came on,a 6 foot flame shot out the arse of it and i lost all power (think i lost oil pressure) The oil is only over the back left hand side of the engine next to the turbo and intercooler.It is 2 dark to see anything else other than things covered in oil. Does any 1 have any ideas what has happened. I am running a fair bit of power and 1.4 bar of boost on a andy forrest 20g turbo if this helps oh and the tubo is only few months old.I will take pics in the morning of it.Any help would be brilliant thanks[:'(]

Does any 1 know where i can source a 6 speed box from the sti 7 or 8 and all other bits and bobs neede for a conversion? As i don't think the 5 speed one I have has much life left in it. Oh and what kind of power will the 6 speed handle as it's not worth me putting in another 5 speed for it to last a few weeks.Thanks
