Hi mate, its just a two wire sensor that Bob Rawle gave me with the simtek ecu, as the maf is gone now, the ecu uses two of the wires in the old maf plug part of the loom for the charge air temp, thats where this sensor plugs in. I had a air flter boxing/shroud made last year, i havent had the car running well enough for long enough to even think about fitting it!. I am picking up a couple of rear hubs today as one of mine is naffed!, hopefully some progress will be made this weekend!.

The boss on IC pipework..

Cheers mate, the battery was swapped under warranty yes, just a pain in the a***, the FMIC went in without messing about with the radiator fans, but it is very tight in there!!!. The boss has now been welded onto the FMIC pipework near the throttle body for the charge temp sensor!.

also ordered engine oil and filter, gearbox oil, lsd oil, rear brake pads.

Dropped my intercooler pipework off at the welders today to get a boss welded on for the charge temp sensor, and swapped my new faulty battery.

Unlikely my car will be on the road for a few weeks yet!

Right then , stuff all delivered Wishbones Tein coilovers, alloy tops Rear diff Dccd box Prop

The gearbox has been rebuilt, i wonder what will give first, the box or a rod?.

I went to this last year and it was really good, a bloke i know races there, Colin Minton and it was great do see him drive!.

Just ordered some new oil, and now looking at getting a new clutch, looks like pat herborn will be tweaking the map soon just to check it over after the problem i have had, looking forward to trying my luck up the strip!

£25 sounds bloody good to me!
