I will now not be able to go, as I have family stuff that I need to do. Although, I would like to put my point across as a new person, like someone else has said on a thread joined the club cos I wanted to be part of a club who enjoyed cars and also did other things like the BBQ and days out. When I was finally able to make a meet (not everyone can do Friday evenings) I was so excited that I was finally going to meet all the members that had made me feel so welcome on this forum. Yet when I turned up I felt like a spare part at a wedding oh don't get me wrong some people had made a real effort to make me feel welcome Dazler emailed me before I went to let me know he would be there and to say hi, loony tune also did the same thing. And I have to give a big up's to deno 66 who had serviced my car the day before and was the only person to come over and introduce me to other people that he knew. (for that I will always thank him) It is very hard for a woman to turn up at male orientated thing without knowing any one (or may be that’s just me being a wimp) I have to say that I left there thinking “well I’m not doing that again.” But after a while being on the forum I thought no it’s me just being silly (the wimp thing coming back out!!) I’ll go again see what it’s like. And I have to say that I felt the same way, until Pele came and got everyone talking. I have no idea what has gone on in the club before, and have no right to express an opinion on it. All I can say is that I really would like to be part of the club and would love to go on days out (as I’m not really a pub person) but at the moment I don’t feel that I am able to as I don’t know anyone. I know that part of this is me and I need to make more of an effort but I don’t think that I would want to commit myself to days outs and other events if they were always going to be like the meets. Its fine to stand on your own for a few hours smiling like some demanded twit in pub, not sure I could do it all day. Points that maybe of some use to take the club forward form a new person • One or two people who are out going to be the person who introduces every one at meets. (or maybe when we have our new t-shirts with our names on we will know each other anyway. LOL) • To try and have meets on different evening other than Fridays • Maybe have a fun day twice a year, which is just about meeting each other, saying hi, making new people feel welcome and selling the club whether that’s Kent or SIDC. And which new people are invited to in person. (always works to make people feel special) Thanks for taking the time to read, and please can someone take that forward for me at the meeting. Gina

[Hi we had to buy one like the second one you had up, for work, well actually we got four, they are great but a bit of a pain to put up untill you are used to them. (i'm very good at it now and can put one up in about 30 mins with four people helping) But any way getting to the point. do you want to try one before you buy it at least then you could see how easy it is to put up (or not as the case may by) If you do want to try it you will have to let me know as soon as you can as it's a pig to dry when wet. we could have a day out trying to put it up and we could use where I work to give it a go. Although I will have to ask first. Let me know what you think.

Silly question time, I have an import, and I'm the 1st owner since it has been imported. I want to keep the sevicing upto date. Can I get an offical subaru sevice history log book, if I can, any body know where from. If their is no such thing hows does every one else show that they have kept the sevices upto date.

Thanks for all your help 1) Have not lost my boyfriend I buried him in the garden last night!!! only joking he's sat playing games on the PC. 2) noise that's the bit i can't explane but it's if I had to call it any think a droning noise ( it's a noise that only the onwer of a car would hear if you know what I mean), which then leads me to think you might all be right about it being tyre noise. I will go and get my pressure check 1st see if that helps.

Thanks for that but the streering does not woble and runs stright as a die if i take my hands of the wheel. It just sort of feels wrong!! i really am sounding like a woman now sorry

On the way home this evening my car felt wrong not sure that I can describe it in words, but it felt very twitchy. Just had four new tyres put on and had all the balancing and tracking done about a week ago, I have also check my nuts (oh er missies!) Also when I go over 3 thousand revs, or sit at about 80mph it sounds wrong that’s the bit I really can’t describe. Was wondering if any one who has a bit of car knowledge would be able to come out with me on a small run just to see what they think.

Whats wrong with the wheel in that car next you you!!!! Looks like the whole car has gone weak at the sight of so many cool cars. Wish I had been able to make it, please have another day out soon
