Hopefully I'll find one [] The newest sports have 35bhp or so more thant the 2004 shape, but if they don't sound as beefy I'd be tempted to get a 2004 GX?

A mate of mine had a 2004 Impreza GX and that still sounded beefy, yeah I've heard that the newer Impreza's are definitely a lot quieter [] Apparently the "official" MPG figures for the sport are better than my Fiesta, just annoying that they have no Sports within 100 miles of me in a official scooby dealership

Am 23 at the moment, 2yrs NCB and 3 points (darn!) Am currently insured with Elephant and they quoted me £2400 which is the cheapest I've found for a WRX (2004 saloon model). The Fez is fun but it doesn't sound that fun - engine just sounds like a high revved version of the standard Fez [] it would be cheaper for me to get insured on the 2006 Sport than it would on my Fez, plus the Fez absolutely eats petrol like nobodies business. MPG is worse than my mates 328ci lol!

Help please [] I'm thinking of buying a 2006 Impreza Sport (can't afford the WRX til I'm 25 so planning on using the Sport as a stop gap [] Problem is the scooby garage in my area don't have any sports for me to test drive and won't get any in unless I am fairly sure I want one (then they can grab one from another dealership). I was basically wondering if anyone has driven one and what they think of them? I've heard the engine burble from the boxer flat four has been muted a lot by a newer exhaust system and setup on the newest shape on the Impreza Sport? Obviously not in comparison to the WRX etc as that's a bit of an unfair comparison! I'm driving a 2005 Fiesta ST (150bhp group 13) so performance should be fairly similar..... Just bored of the ST to be honest haha.
