james666 on here has a hondaru and goes round knockhill, looks like a honda and sounds and goes like a wrx on heat and weighs only 880kgs

cheers neil!! yes already been done myself and tosh32 done it end of 2008 with my nice mint 555sti wagon that wouldnt sell so only thing to do was make the hondaroo which is an out and out trak car and for poor fun, currently gettin engine rebuild after i fecked it last time out, and lack of cash means not done anythin to it yet part from buy new blocks!!! yes blocks dunno wot to use yet!! but will see soon might even throw a supercharger on it too!!! if i can find one big enough!!! cant find a pic as yet coz all old posts have been removed!! but think 4hero has some pics!!!here is 1 i found thats before paintin and finishin off!!, car is 555blue with the 555 graphics only changed the 555 to 666 so folk know its me!!!!

hahahaha!! it can be done!!! i have a honda civic which has full impreza runnin gear!! and lot less weight!!!, i know a guy that has a 206 with the flat 4 in it too!! cars lookin good and should be a fun build.

i would say fedrals and dont laugh but try fullruns too as i have them on the hondaroo and it sticks to the track, where as it is mincing the toyos!!!

if you cant hear pump then i would say your pump is gubbed!!!! go for a walbro 255, but take pump out and test it first

TBH i would not waste my money buying another scoob as they're not holding their value i bought my 95 555sti wagon for 4500 fresh import with 30000miles on the clock put a futher 6500 in to it tried sellin it for 4500 and got nothing so i chopped said car up scoobs are worthless now

to be honest with you mate had big pay cuts with my work and the house comes first so gonna garage it till things pick up its better than having to sell. but yeah spent a good 5 hours polishing time before she went in.

fair point there mate! as corsa says stick it up on stands give pipes, shocks and bolts underneath a covering of wd40 or simallar stuff to keep damp from them

why bother just keep driving it!!! thats wot they are built for unless you are 1 of these guys that polishes everything and its a show and shine car .

worst thing is, it was my mate who i have known for 20 years who stole it!!

to be honest i cant remember my first car as i had so many before was legal!!!!! but some i do remember were my mums fait panda that was crap so turbo'd it with help from old uno!!!then again mums 1200cc nova 4dr saloon but got bored so pulled 1200 out and dropped in full gte engine and box!!!!!!!!!!! then got my own cars!!! blck mrk 1 fiesta supersport that got nice kent highlift cam and big twin choke webber!!! off a 3.0 capri, a crappy cavy sri that put piston through the block so binnned that got a nice 309git, 2.8v6 4x4 serria bmw M525 sport scooby and now 3.0shogun lots missin but mostly mrk1 and 2 escorts!!! oh had a sunbeam too with a 2.1pinto in it!!! but they were all before i had a bit of paper thats says you can drive legally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just wanna say thanks to JohnS and 4hero for their great pics!! and knockhill weather was great for a change turned out to be a enjoyable day for all that were there.

thats a subaru floor plan complete with all running gear, only fitted with a honda body, weighs in at 880kg and been shorted in boot floor to suit the new body

Yeah seen your tyres this morning when you put them on and didn't think they were gonna last the day and the lumps of rubber that was comin off while you were on track. Weather was good but car felt bit hot. But we had great day and car went very well for 2nd time out since buildin it just need to sort brakes out. Hope to see some good pics
