About scoobywrx

  1. Hi, I used to be a full member of the SIDC but i sold my 1993 Impreza WRX 12 months ago. I really miss the car and i was wondering if anyone knew where it was the registration was K834 CNE as i would be interested in purchasing it back. If not does anyone know of any decent early wrx's for sale? Many Thanks Tom
  2. Hi, I have seen a 1999 Subaru Impreza for sale and it has a RS badge on the back. It is a sedan and looks like a sport in appearence so therefore i do not believe it is the american model but i was just wondering if the impreza was badged as an RS in any other markets and it is an import. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks Tom
  3. Hi, Thanks very much for that information, yes it was that S202 on pistonheads it seemed a bit of a bargain but maybe not now i've seen the price of the model reports!! Thanks again Tom
  4. Hi, I have seen a recently imported impreza for sale but it has no model report. Does anyone know what this means and could it be registered to be used on UK roads. It is a 2002 year model. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated Thanks Tom
  5. Chees thanks very much for that, i will have a look at what i can find out with that model code. thanks again for your help Tom
  6. Hi everyone, I have recently seen for sale a year 2000 wrx limited model for sale but i am not quite sure of what specification it should be as in Brian Long's book Subaru Impreza the road car & wrc story it refers to it as a WRX type RA limited and therefore should come with 16" Rays alloys but the car i have seen appears to have the 16" 5 spoke subaru wheels of that era and i was wondering if they have gone missing at some point or whether the book has got slightly confused with the STI limited models released at the same time. Also as it has a post 99 ECU and therfore can be mapped with ECUTEK what sort of power gains are you looking at with an Exhaust and induction kit with a cold air feed over the standard cars 276BHP? It would also be nice if someone could confirm that this model comes with four pot callipers and also the newer inverted suspension. Any advice on the above would be a big help Cheers Tom
  7. Thanks, i will post the details as a new topic and see whether anyone knows. Cheers Tom
  8. Hi there again, I have just got a couple more questions about the V Limited which i was hoping you could help me with. The first question is when looking up this particular model in Brian Long's book Subaru Impreza the road car & wrc story it refers to it as a WRX type RA limited which it says should come with 16" Rays alloy wheels whereas the one i have seen for sale has the standard gold 5 spoke 16" wheels that most uk turbos had of that era. I was therefore wondering whether the book has got confused with the STI limited launched at the same time and the WRX limited only came with the standard 5 spoke 16" wheels or the Rays wheels have gone missing at some point. Cheers Tom
  9. Hi there, I have seen an Impreza WRX V Limited for sale today, it is a year 2000 model but i was wondering if anyone knew a bit more about them as i already know that only 1000 were built and that they have the phase 2 boxer engine which develops 280 PS but what i wanted to know was what type of suspension and brakes do they come with and also if anyone has had any experience of driving one. Also can you modify the phase 2 engine as well and are the internals stronger than the phase 1? Many Thanks Tom
  10. Very good bought a 1993 WRX from them and have been very pleased with the car and the service they have provided whenever i have been there.
