Gentlemen, gentlemen...
I came into Subaru and indeed performance motoring less that two years ago. My first purchase in this new found niche was the MY06 WRX Hawkeye design. Knowing nothing about Imprezas and given my new found position, it stands to reason that I will be a fan of the Newage design. That said, it does not blind me to other things of beauty, nor does it cloud my judgment. I have always said that while I prefer the Newage over its Classic counterpart, I do still like some Classics. I don't like all Classics though, and as a rule of thumb, I would choose a standard Newage over a standard Classic in almost all cases. However, the machine displayed above shows extensive exterior styling and a list of performance mods to die for. Dare I say it, that some Classics, given this type of treatment, will, to my mind (albeit largely uniformed), be even more desirable than some of its Newage counterparts. And while I am at it, I cannot say that one style is better than the other, for I have never driven a classic; all I can say is that I prefer Newages in most cases because I am in all things attracted by that which is contemporaneous.
And finally... mon the Newages!
nice reply JW,but but you should know ........that in the beginning, god created the "classic"impreza then.......................................................oh no i think we've been there before.

I remember the first meet I ever went and I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. As Paul 555sti says come along to the central meet on Tuesday. Details in the events section.
i agree with the big man here,i usually go to central and glasgow meets when i can ,i even went to a lothians meet recently.....and went to the wrong pub,had a look around my car, spoke to myself about my latest mods then went home.
i do notice however,a lot of new members will tend to walk around looking at cars with their heads down ,hoping someone will say hello...i should know because i was the exact same, its simply a case of walking up to someone and saying"hello,i'm"screen name" my real name is "bloggs",how you doin?...well that usually works for me and i'm not the most confident person in the world.
-
nice one Neil......gunmetal does it for me
-
As dipsy said, you really need to go up and introduce yourself. i got window stickers made up for my car with my screen name on so whenever i pulled up folk knew it was me.
.....and a sunstrip so folks would know it was a subaru........ooops my bad ,the sunstrips still in the boot.
