About Boner

  1. Hi Was overtaken by a subaru on the main highstreet of the mentioned village.. i was in the white transit doing 20mph which is fast nuff for a village m8, i love my subaru too but i keep its speed for the many backroads in the area that are alwasy very quiet and usually safer to drive a bit faster. doing overtakign manovers in a village just feeds the boy racer tag we all have on our cars Its a lovely exaple you have and silly manovers will end up ruining its looks oneday if ur not careful. i was driving slow as i take my mum shopping on sundays (56 years old and scared of the roads). think next time m8 think of the reputation you will give us all. Keep it safe folks []
  2. [Y] Lovely motor.
  3. Fight it m8 Im new here but had exactly the same issue a good few years ago and came out ontop no problem and i hit the back o the car invloved too. Was the police called out to the accident? was the accident reported? did the other driver agree to not get insurance compnays invloved? was ther any witneses etc etc. Say to your insuance not to pay a thing and write a letter to the other insurance comapny stating the facts and take it from there. Took me a good 4-6 months but paid nothign and the insurnace company done most the work for me when i threatened to leave them for another company who looks after their customers. Above all make sure your no claims is protected throughout. Good luck Boner
  4. Hi evryone I hope your all well. I recently bought a 1995 classic WRX wagon. She was brought into the country in Decemeber and i got a very good deal on her. Condition wise would ahve been perfect had the gorrilas on the boats not stacked the cars like cards resulting in a good few minor but noticable scrathes especially on the front bumper and rear. The Car is almost standard but has been fitted with later generation alloys(17") and a nice big fat exaust system from japan. It also has headlamp amplifiers which work a treat on the country roads. She is an auto but in all honesty i drive a transit all day long so the lazy shifting is a holiday evrytime im in the car. Fuel consumption lol lol not abd actually but i realise if you press the fun button too much the fuel guage acts more like a bank balance meter. Im not really gona touch the bodywork just sort the scratches etc and put on a crystal indicator pack and new lcrystal headlamps, maybe gona do the rear lights but their cool as is. All the work i wana do is on power and stopping and cornering. First up though i want a good service on her including all belts being changed etc. Who is best for my car near or close too edinburgh? im going to get some lightweight pulleys fitted on this service. And any idea of a rough price. Any info would be appricitaed. Ill post pics when i figure that part oot. Take it easy folks Boner
