Would I need the full system or just a back box mate?
-
Heres a better picture of me new scooby.

Quote from the BBC : The 36-year-old presenter suffered a "significant brain injury" when he crashed a jet-powered car at a speed of up to 300mph during filming. Who's saying that he caused the crash? Maybe the BBC are wiping their hands clean? I think the parachute caused the crash. (my opinion only BTW) Why would he deliberately swerve off the runway?
-
He'll be fine I'm sure. A bruised brain (which can happen) is what I think he has suffored. I m not a doctor, just a hopefull individual. I think his wife and kids will be delighted that he has a slight sense of humour. (Last report I got).

What is the fastest you have ever had your car ?
Alan-G replied to craig mac's topic in Scottish Scoobies
65 today, although born in 1966 [] Can't go much faster in 5th as running the new Scoob is like wearing a chastity belt at the mo. 102 miles on the clock now! Time to get a new one? [] -
The scooby is AMAZING ! Did 100 miles today and it was effortless. Silly question, but how do you become a full member? And yes, Fab 1 is my other half []
-
Try here for some Nice R/C cars. I think one is an Evo - thats a bad word. []

This is all new to me Brian, I have a lot to learn, BBQ AT MY BIT ? YES... Any takers for the ' Noise - fest ' in or around the Airdrie region ?
-
Sorry to come straight back in. But this new Scoobie is Frea*** quite unbeliveable. It's tight, but yet not, it's got the naturalo Subaru grunt/noise, the wife (Fab1 - i'm now told as she has now joined SS) loves it and wants a Forrester, has/is going to leave me bankrupt. Any help with financing and funding is more than welcome at this precarious stage are welcome. Donations@paythewife.co.uk are really a sought after resource right now. Ps, the site doesn't exist yet - I'm WRXing on it though. Alan.

I'll give it a go 4hero. Looks like the usual BBc codes I'm used to on flyingsites. Might post a piccy of our neighbour leering over the fence too. Looks like it worked! All 220mph from that jet. (now deceased) Alan.

No, he took it off the van a couple of doors up as we have a mental next door neighbour that complains about everything if it's in front of his house. Get this, we had to install a security camera back and front of the house to warn this 6" firefighter to back off with his threats. He actually - believe it or not - Threatened my wife Jen. (She's 5 foot nothing and weighs 8 stone) that God help her if he got his hands on her. He got charged - well twice as he tried to break in one time. Bet the new Scooby pisses him off 'cos he's got a corsa. Alan. ps. After Jen getting a shot of the WRX - she's hooked too. F*** she wants a forrester now [] Is that bad news or just a wallet-ache?
-
Hi 4hero, How did you link the pic from flyingsites directly onto SS ? I see the properties are from FlyingSites but how did you display it mate. Thanks in advance. Alan.
-
Just has Frank - Thank God.
-
Bloomin Heck that was quick. www.Motor-depot.co.uk Without looking at their site - how much do you think Brian? Alan.

Well she arrived (the WRX that is) at about 6 o'clock and I've taken her for a short spin. Why do I get the feeling that I will never have anything other than a WRX ever again? Thanks again for the all the welcomes peeps, What a great forum and bunch of friendly and helpfull people you are! I have a picture uploaded on another sites Gallery but I can't see a way of linking this forum to the other site being www.flyingsites.co.uk to show the picture directly on this forum. I fly model aircraft too (sad git) but one I had was a twin jet engined MiG29 (miniature Jet engines which run on Jet-A1 fuel and could rev to 136,000 RPM - over 2000 spins a second) which was destroyed in our house fire. The cost if the MiG was close to the price of the WRX and could do almost 100mph faster than the scoobies top speed. So I think if you click on this link you'll get the Scoobie delivery pic. [] http://www.flyingsites.co.uk/gallery/album...mall_Custom.jpg Later I'll arrange a link to a pic of the MiG - if anyone is interested that is ! Wife's away for a shot (That'll mean I need to buy another one [])

Hello Alan-G Are you a clone? [] Our first child was born 1 year 1 month ago.... Don't want the fire bit though...... Welcome to a completely different world of car ownership. [] Ok, this is getting a bit scary now Alan. Was it a boy or a girl. (the fire was a b******d)[]

Wey Hey, yup its premium silver. Can someone tell me if premium silver is the light or dark silver? Expectant father, no this is better ! Our first child was born 1year three months ago at 10.00pm - the house caught fire at 05.00 the following morning...[:'(] Mother and daughter were in the hospital thank God. That was very traumatic - THIS is EXCITING []
-
Just emailed the company and Trish wrote this back to me : I am just waiting for it to be invoiced off and then it is on it’s way. The driver is here and the car is loaded. It should be with you around mid afternoon. Are you excited? Ehhhhh ! just a little bit
-
I'd like some photos too mate [] I'm waiting for the wagon to turn up from Hull, so it might be the early afternoon before I'm all WRX'd up. Why does that sound a shade primevily stinko?
-
Latest I've heard is that he is ' stable ' and at the crash scene he was drifting in and out of conciousness and complaining of a lower back pain. I think he'll be OK. Hopefully.
-
Listen guys, Thanks for a superb welcome to SS and I know I'll get loads more advice here. Thanks again. Ps. Didn't sleep too well last night. That's un-nerving as I always sleep soundly. (do these cars have a kind of spell / hix on you?) Good news is that I didn't wet meself.

This news is dreadfull.

Thanks Frank []

Hi Frank, I didn't think my username would clash with anyones, but clearly it has ! Even looking at the members on line earlier and seeing AlanG on at the same time with my username right next to his it seems like were joined at the hip ![] Sorry AlanG for this confusion. Can anyone tell me where the ' profile ' button is so I can oersonalize my profile please.
