  1. im sure he'll top by at some point and comment in the way that only he can.
  2. NEC in Birmingham. (strange piece of information to find on the piston heads website i thought.)
  3. i wouldn't actually be surprised if prodrive started to offer different levels of tuning in the performance pack. one at say 350/360 and another at 400. There is defiantly enough demand for that kind of power and to be manufacturer backed would please a lot of people and insurance companies.
  4. welcome to the club mate. as said already defiantly a detango on those lights with the look of the rest of the car. also as nobody else has said to you i will. CUT UP YOUR CREDIT CARD NOW!!! you have been warned.
  5. well considering the cost of a new one i'd be inclined to try cleaning it. if it is broke you can't really brake it much more however if it works then you win!
  6. happy new year indeed. hope you all have a good one.
  7. ok, at my uncles and rather pished now but merry christmas one and all.... hope santa was god to everyone!!!!
  8. got mine eariler as well. been a very busy day with the last minute bits but i shall take some time to read it later. the air freshener ended up in my dads corsa.... enough said.
  9. went up stairs and set the dvr to record it as soon as the advert was on.
  10. good to see the parts all coming together mate. looking forward to seeing it once it arrives.
  11. And the £1.91 of that didn't go into the Santa Cruise fund why?... I would think with the cruise the first priority is the kinds and raising them the money is the hard part. Would it be nice if we could improve the image of the club / car at the same time with a little good PR yeah it would be so thats why we try and get some coverage. Plus it might just help get more people involved in any charity to raise money for those who need it.
  12. looking great guys. good luck on saturday.
  13. Well my Wii did arrive (WOHO!!!) however the mag is now waiting for me at the depot after a failed second delivery.... well my brother was in the house all day and took delivery of the wii fine.... you think the postie could ring the bell to say there was a magazine that needed a signature but no... looks like they just put the card through. Pain in the behind.
  14. I swear to god this one wasn't me honest!!!!!! Still not nice for any car to go that way. Looks like it was some impact.
  15. and here was me hoping it was my wii the delivery card was for. oh well i shall enjoy the issue when i get it.
  16. right on the orders of the one who helped all this go with military precision (yes Imy it was needed) i've been told to post after sleeping for the last 4 hours. OK so what can i say. I don't know who enjoys this more the kids in the hospital or the ones behind the wheel of the cars. presents were plenty.... cars looked great.... peters sounded even better in the tunnel and a massive slap up meal afterwards!!!! all in all a fantastic day. Kudos to the Rudolf biker that was outstanding. highlight for me was the tinsel attack on jac's car. glad you could make it mate. was good to see you there.
  17. had the maf replaced on my 00 last year. just went one day driving out from work. car went into limp home mode so i limped to my mates house as it was closer. couldnt get the car above 45, 2500rpm if you tried. reset the ecu with the secs unit and instantly cel flew up and ther secs confirmed the code as maf failure. got it done under warranty but about £100 from a dealer is about right. if they try and charge you several hundred there trying to get you to replace the whole section and not just the sensor so tell them where to go with that idea. such a common failure that many subaru websites sell them for that year. http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=47_185
  18. excellent work people. congratz to the north.
  19. you're going to make us all wait that long!!!!! boo!!!
  20. actually ally it was his key fob stopped working even after changing the battery. when you don't know your 4 digit code your kinda goosed really in that situation. shopping went well. think we were done in about 2 hours. just feel like big kids tbh but you remember it as well.
  21. glad you got back guys. why do i get the feeling you'll never forget that code in a long time now.
  22. looks like its battery time on the my00's then. i had to replace mine a couple weeks ago. i got mine for abut 45 - 50ish from LSUK (place in kilmarnock so not much help but gives you idea of price) they are heavy buggers though. no wonder the mental spend a fortune on light weight ones.
  23. Don't worry ally. we shall spend to make you proud. see you all then.
  24. indeed, there are very few ways in which it can get worse for some of us. can't wait to see both cars go down the strip.
  25. lol, nice quote. now would you go for the TD04 talons or TD05 inch talons? hmm...
