So correct me if I'm wrong, a standard STI (05MY) has 3 cats, once PPP is fitted it has 2 left? I've been looking on the hayward&scott website and they offer a straight through centre section (which replaces the resonator) and a 2nd/3rd cat pipe which fits on to the centre section. If I replaced these 2 pipes would I then only have 1 cat left and would this affect the ECU on the PPP and come MOT time would this be a problem? Thanks for your time and help. [*-)]

If I bought a centre section (pipe that joins the backbox) for my 05 STI PPP would that replace a resonator or cat? Would it affect the way the car runs or just add a little more noise? [8-)]

It was my understanding the STI filter was more suited to the JDM models. Could be wrong though.

Thanks for the replies guys. Seems the Toyos and Goodyears are just as good as each other. Don`t see a Yokohama Parada thats 235/40/18 though. Got to the end of the month to decide. []

The most popular tyre choice seems to be TOYO T1Rs or GOODYEAR GDS3 F1s. Having not tried either I`m looking for comments/opinions from people who have tried both. Size would be 235/40/18 Cheers. []

I`m with Priviledge and they insure my 05 sti ppp as standard as I bought the car when Subaru had the free ppp offer. [Y] Think if you have a few mods defo try A Plan or Keith Michaels.
