any ideas on adding to power/performance while having the engine rebuilt? Maybe adding some sti parts or a 2.5 block? i dont know lots about engines, any ideas?

done 75k, never tracked, always warmed up and cooled down, api said it may have been running lean due to exhaust and filter mods and no remap. Totall bummer, must look on the bright side, she'll be back for summer and better than ever []

cut my sunday outing short today when i heard a strange ticking noise coming from under the bonnet, so i crawled home and lifted the bonnet, anyone know what this noise is? i seem to have more trouble with parts walking off my car than attempted thieft, lost a spoiler 18 months ago and front bumber includings plates and spotlights earlier in the year. Cars now garaged unless im actually driving it [], im lucky i can walk/cycle to work.

does anyone know if you can fit a snap-off to a wheel with an airbag? im guessing not but thought id ask[]

im in need of 4 new tyres very soon so thought it would be a good time to upgrade from the standard rims (16s). i really wanted to go for 18s but confused about what this will do to the handling on MY00, so ive been looking at 17s aswell, i could do with ordering new rims+tyres today or tomorrow so am desperate for any advice, i need to buy them from somewere that offers some sort of finance so this limits my choices slightly, ive been looking at the inovit redlines on potn.co.uk they come in 18x7.5 or 17x7. can anyone confirm if the 18s will fit with no rubbing and which tyres should i get? or should i go for the 17s? cheers

hi im looking at buying an alloys+tyres package from scoobyworld, but not sure what to make of the toyo tyres, ive heard they only last a 5k, can anyone confirm???? i current run on bridgestones, is there really that much diff?

At the end of the day its up to you. Imo total waste of time and money that could be put towards somthing better, and better not being a pulsar[] if i wanted a ferrari id never dream of buying an mr2 and making a lookalike. Vauxhall have the best idea, if you want parts from there 888s etc you have to prove you own one else you dont get the parts. Just my views, please dont take offence.

i really would have a good think about the pros & cons of this idea. Your going to have all the down sides of owning an impreza with non of the good sides other than looks. Like you may have problems with parts getting nicked off it etc, ive had the rear spoiler ragged off in an attept to knick it, and the entire front of my car stolen (bumper, lights, number plate etc) not forgeting an attempted highjack, and attepted thieft. all this is 2 years. theres also the risk of your door been kicked in and the keys been demanded from you, You will be running the same risk for a 1.6 n/a. I know id rather own somthing faster, less insurance and attracts less trouble. Just my opinion.

what time do we have to be there for?
