Been out in the car today and the Check Engine Light has come on and wont go away, anybody got any ideas what it could be or what I should do , I have checked the obvious things like Oil which is ok, It only had a service 4k miles ago when the cambelt was changed????? []

We didnt know if the guy was doing them slightly cheaper than others because he did a poo job, thats why we asked to see the work he had done. He did have some pics but mainly of the wrapping. We will be wrapping our downpipe when we take it off again to have the headers done and modifying the turbo heat sheald to put back on too.

I want to have this done on my car too. We had a look on Scoobynet and theres a few people advertising that they can do it. We was quoted 125 quid just to have the headers done (was 150 quid to have the up pipe done aswell) both those prices included wrapping and heat spraying. I did email him and ask him if he could send me some pictures of the work he had done but he didnt have any, he said the next time he does one he will take some picture of the actual work he does so we can see if it is any good. His was on an exchange basis or you could send yours up to him to do. Vicky

Hi Diddy Not sure if you seen the post but there is a general club meet at Notcutts this month on the 18th perhaps you could try to make this and meet a few of us from the club,there are a few of us from around maidstone/chatham way as well as those that travel a little further to join in, there is usually enought parking and we all go to the pub for a drink and chat, this may be a better option than trying to organise a meet at blue water car park and then perhaps another trip could be arranged soon? []

Were home after loosing everyone in ashford on the way to the pub [:$] we took a wrong turn at the roundabout and could not catch up. Well done to dazzlers for catching up in brenzett after getting stuck behind that slow car, we kepts trying to slow down without loosing those in front so you could catch up. We decided to have a nice drive home through the country after we lost you all [] We really enjoyed the day including the crazy golf with Trevor, Suzanne and Ian [H] cant wait for the next day trip out somewhere. Perhaps we could arrange a trip or night out for June as per comments at the indian night out a few months back.

Ho Wayne How about one of the bi fuel cars like the Vauxhall vectras. Or he could get something like an estate for about 3k and spend the rest getting it converted to gas, that should cut his fuel costs down []
