Has anyone considered the chinese at notcutts thats a big enough car park?? apparantly their food is quite nice as a work collegue goes there. And me and paul will be up for this date.

It wasnt actually me as i was in spain, my car was meant to be being looked after but obvioiusly sister in law thought shed take it for a spin then. hope it was being driven carefully.

Hi all We found this one while browsing about http://www.galatent.co.uk/more_details.asp...;ItemCode=00702 Theres a video on the website too so you can see how its built. It looks quiet strong. We had one of the pop up gazebos last year at kent modded and the legs on it were no good. All the feet broke and the legs all got bent, thats why we had it really low which was a pain to sit under!!

Sorry you feel like that there was a few of us there at kent modded on sunday and made a reall effort to make the stand look good and make everyone feel welcolme we had 14 members turn up which is better than we expected. I dont remember talking to you however there were a few people enquiring into the club and we were all doing out best to promote the club as best we could, I have been a member here for over a year and must say that all of the people that I have met and talked to in the club are a great bunch of people. And if this is the image that we are really portraying then we need to look at doing something about it.

It seems that this weekend has been the prime weekend for damaging cars, not with mine being broken into, the gazebo incedent another car in the area got broke into and a colleque of my husband had a brick thrown at his whilst driving and another mate had someone dent his wing, I cannot beleive that this is all in a space of a weekend and all within this area, what is the world coming too.

would you be willing to work in a call centre as our company are always hiring? i can PM you if intrested.

Yeah we do need one that big just for steve to keep his burgers and sausages in I definatley think the 2nd one is a good choice especially if we could get some banners along the sides.

Without Steves contribution to the stand it would not have looked no where near as good as it did, Steve went out of his way to source extra things for the stand and has had no financial help. But steve also went out and did something about sorting these products rather than just moaning about the lack of promotional items. Perhaps we should all take a leaf out of steve's book and do something about it, such as Big Jay following in securing a t-shirt supplier at a good price. at the end of the day there are certain members who are trying to help but we are not moving forward and actually getting anything done.

More Bunting! It definately finished the stand off nicely but could do with some more as we could put all around the cars it keeps people away from getting too close to the paintwork. Also defines the stand. Also think that perhaps we should consider all chipping in for power supply next time we could then have scooby colour LED around the Gazebo and can take a microwave and tele

VickyK However I dont really think the club should necessarily be down to just one person, we should have a committee of a few people who each take on a specific role for organising as a club needs to be run by the club. Perhaps that is why pele appears to be struggling. But we need people who are committed to their club and willing to attend events to Promote it, lets face it is pretty embarrising when you go to an organised event and there are only a handful of cars.. condisdering the amount of people that are members, our members need to be made more aware of what is going on within plenty of time so we can arrange these things.

At least we will have them in time for next years shows

Thanks to everyone who turned up made the weekend all worthwhile, shame about the chavs and that gazebo incedent does ruin it for everyone else. Big thanks to Steve for making the stand look great those flag poles are excellent (Without tornado wind tho LOL) and thanks for supplying gas and BBQ, the 300 sausages & burgers and most of all company (wats for tea???) And also thanks to the Welsh people for entertainment! I must say however that it was a shame we did not have any cards to hand out or t-shirts to promote our club as plenty of people were asking about joining and a card to give them would have been much better.

HI All got an appointment booked for 3pm to get window replaced so hopefully should be able to make the show after all.

Does anyone know if waldon way stock pasenger windows or anyone who could help me out, i need to get this sorted today as totally paranoid someone is gonna come back for my car, i have not slept and jumped up at any slight noise now. any help appreciated.

THe way things stand at this moment, unfortunatley we do not think we will be able to attend..... as someone attempted to break in to my car this morning and I now need a new window urgently.

Just a warning to everyone please be very vigalant of your vehicles particulary in Medway, Just had someone attempt to break in and has totally smashed window. Ruined my weekend for showing now!
