Cheers for the help guys this really helps alot as the information on other web site threads was way too confusing and contradicting. Baser no problem cos sounds like your in the same situation as me not really knowing where to start and not wanting to spend all the money all at once and if you dont ask then you will never know. []

Looking at starting the mods on my 2002 wrx but not sure what to go for and finding it all abit confusing [*-)] and not sure where to start!!!!!!!! I dont really want to take the car over 300bhp as heard a few bad things about clucthes and gearboxes going ! how true is this? So has anoyone got any recommendations?? I already have a 3" decat exhaust to go on with down pipe waiting to go on (when Paul can be bothered to fit it) heres a list of few things im looking at having done and would like people feedback and coments please. 1.Up pipe 2.OE Ported headers and manifold or stainless steel?? (this is where I start getting really confused [8-)] as im not really mechanically minded Please can someone advise the best and explain what they actually do?) 3.Samco Hose Kits 4.TMIC do I need to change this? If so is Ebay cheepies any good? 5. K&N panel filter 6.Uprated fuel pump - when will i need to change this? 7. Remap when mods on. (Recommendation and price?) Thinks thats about it for now as it will probably take me a year to pay for this lot! Thanks Vicky K

We opted for replacing the rear shelf for a Handy Andy (MDF) shelf. We do have infinity speakers in the rear doors which were running off the head unit, the fronts are diamond speakers which are run on a pioneer amp(never heard of them before but sound good and think they were expensive too) Took Paul over a couple of weekends to do, but the sound is much better, you can actually here them. Dont think you get the best sound fron door speakers. Plus he has now fitted my 12" kicker sub too!! so you will be able to hear me coming at the next met []

Well Ive just had a scary moment as I have to face a steep hill that was all covered in snow and the problem is there is a busy main road at the bottom and no matter what i did my car did not want to stop , was only in first gear too... phew managed to stop it just before i got to the bottom though, would have thought that road would be gritted as its a main road used by a lot of cars.

if you open internet explorer, click on tools, options then general settings and clear history.

we had a great time too , and just want to say big thanks to Shiralee for organising. and we are definatly up for the next night out to dogs racing or bowling. a few of you mentioned paintballing too -not done it myself but wouldnt mind giving it a go and we know a good place that runs it. Will bring along some leaflets to next meet for everyone to look at if interested. Will give us some time to look into it then as the weather will need to warm up a bit first.[H]

I need a gearbox drive shaft for a scooby if anyone has got one or knows someone who has one. We have had manufacturing problems at work with the non turbo scoobies and we have worked it out to be the drvie/centre plate. We found out from our testing department we dont have the drive shaft to test them on (thats probably why they dont work?!?!) Any one of the list of vehicles drive shafts will do. Impreza 92 - 00 1.6 4wd (gc4) Legacy 89 - 94 1.8 2 & 4wd (bc3/bf3) Forester 97 - 2.0 16v 4wd Legacy 91 - 94 2.0 4wd (bc5/bf5) You can either contact me on here or email me at, kidneycrump@yahoo.co.uk Cheers Paul

Some people who make down pipes do 2 types long and short. This section might go with a short down pipe. Not sure if it would be for classic or newage.
