Hi All, Anyone know anything about a scooby being eaten by a MPV on the Mill house round-a-bout at the top end of Northwich this morning. A freind of mine said a black classic Scoob was stuck in the side of a MPV on the island, none of us I hope. He thought the scoob looked like a right off.[]. The noon.

Hi Guys its me needing help again. Scoob has just failed its MOT on emissions. CO2 is really high when revved, lower at idle but still a fail. Lamda was also high at first but then dropped down to a pass after some messing. Before test noticed that one of the hoses to the dump valve was leaking boost under acceleration. This was fixed then reset ECU. This helped a lot but still failed, does it take the ECU some time to settle down? Could the leaking boost pressure make a big difference? Any other ideas? Car is a MY96 jap classic, only known mods being apexi dump valve and HKS pipe. Cheers Ste

Alarm will set with key in there so car is all locked up with immobiliser on, just don't know whether there will be a drain on the battery because ignition is still on(a bit). Do you think it would be better to disconnect the battery and lock doors manualy. Scoob is a 96 classic waggon with TOAD alarm.

Hi Guys And Gals, Have a small problem, just been out for an evening blast and a quick pint. Pull up outside the pub and can't get key out of the ignition. It will only go back one stop to turn engine off but then no more. The problem is more if I leave it with the key in the ignition will this affect the alarm and imobiliser. Cheers Steve

O.K whats the best exhust mod for my96 jap classic.......I am open to ideas. I have a HKS system on at the mo with standard cat by looks of it. Pipe has a big ding in it just before the back box so dose need some work. Some of the lads at Tatton were say about up pipes and down pipes to release more power. Would a sports cat be a good idea or a de-cat, how will that affect MOT's. Cheers Steve

Hi Guys, I know you are an educated lot. What's with this V Power stuff? Is it just a higher octane? Should I still run Octane booster? As this is my first tank full of Millers in my jap waggon, am I doing the right thing? Should I fit a flamer kit and frighten old people?[W][6] Heeelllpp

Cheers guys, I am still running the two pots (PANTS, i know) but since this is my first scooby it is really just a quick fix. I have plans to look for another car, maybe the end of the year. Something a bit more upto date both power and handling wise (I think I have the bug). Even a small increase in brake performance would be an improvement, my brakes are SCARRY!! Steve.

Hi All, New to this so please be gentle with me. I am sure this has been asked before but here goes. Just sorting out the brakes on my96 wrx waggon the list so far is:- Mintex 1155 pads, Braided hoses, New discs = http://www.rotordiscs.com/main_page.htm. And DOT 5 brake fluid. Firstly any comments on this set up? Has anyone ever used these discs? Would a master cylinder stopper be a good idea? All help would be greatly appreciated.
