  2. Hi Rich

    Welcome

I had the Afetrburner Vortex and polished up looked very good and the design made the Scooby burble sound great.

I did change to a Blitz Nur Spec as i wanted it as loud as possible. Only drive it at weekends so wanted to enjoy the noise as much as possible.

I would recommened the Vortex you won't be dissapointed one bit.

    Any car pics??

  3. Wow - really surprised about the PPP WRX's!! Best i put my money elsewhere then.................

    Personally i would.

How much is the PPP for your Bug and what exactly do you get??

I'm sure you could achieve the same results with beer money left over. Plus it's not like using different parts will void your warranty as that's no doubt expired.

AFAIK PPP doesn't effect the warranty which is why a lot of people opt for it in the early stages of ownership.

Would be keen to know what you get at what price

  4. The highest of the day was a Spec D scooby 365.9BHP 356 FTLB touque

As above the PPP is pants!

Doesn't do what it says on the tin. Far better off getting it all done seperate with different components.

That's a good figure walding 1 Bhp more than mine but -4 Torque. Hope a good day was had by all

  5. Hi Bud

I used to use the Meguiars waxes and stocked up when Halfords had a 3 for 2 but as that's running low replacing it with some other bits.

I still use Meguiars NXT car shampoo and I use Natty's blue paste wax. smells just like bubble gum it's a hard wax but very easy to apply and great results. Not a great expense either

Other than a good shampoo and wax i also found what a difference a good drying cloth made. This is the site i use and they had an offer on a drying cloth that really did do what it said on the tin

    Visit www.cleanyourcar.com

    Drying cloth

It really is how far you want to go. Any questions just ask.

  6. Lol

Yeah had a look on the millenium stadium events site and saw nothing.

Thanks for the speed camera heads up. A shame it's work i did think of taking the tools in the scoob but a 200 mile round trip would be no where as practical as my van.

But if i'm impressed might make a return visit in the scoob :(

PS in a small van does that still fall in the £5.40 bracket simular size to say a berlingo certainally not transit size

  7. Hi guys

Will be heading to Cardiff on Saturday to cover a callout. A bit out of my range but helping someone out.

I'll be going down the M4 to Cardiff from Oxford. One question is the toll £5.40 (westbound) Also is there anything to watch out for in Cardiff on Saturday (any events etc)

The site is Crichton St CF10 5BT if anyone knows Cardiff and aiming to leave Oxford around 7 ish to beat traffic

    Thanks in advance

    Ben

  8. Whatever you have heard you aint heard half of it and everything else is all true :boldblue::P:P

Some say when she yells at Ed she can be heard in Oxford and that she has a sixth sense to home in on Ed when he's buying new performance parts, behind her back

all we know is she's called SP!!!

  9. cheers mate

but chromes no longer on car,,back to standard gold ones

suspention had to be lowered for mot to stop it all banging and wheels catch rear arch

so its arch rolling or back to standards

So the chromes are off because of the rubbing?

What are the wheel specs buddy? They must have a wide offset if rubbing
