Cheers m8! Any advice on the boost controller?

Only modification is a cat back vortex system and green panel filter everything thing else is standard.

Going to get an Apexi power fc beggining of next year and was wondering if it can raise and controll boost levels or would i need a boost controller (i.e avcr)? Was also wondering if anyone could clarify what the standard boost is on an sti ver3? I have a boost gauge on the car (unknown make) which sometimes goes to 1.1, 1.2 bar, and the engine is totally standard! Though the boost is arond 0.9 standard? Could the gauge be giving a false reading?

I'm just about to put millers 10w 60 in my 97sti and comforting to know that people say the right choice.

Can anyone tell me the best oil for an st v3 please? Also when changing the oil is there a certain way to do it as i've heard there is?

Just got my sti lowered this week on tein springs(28 front 30 rear). Have to say car now handles much better, was expecting it to be a bumpier ride but it's smoother and feels solid. Also looks much better, no big gap in arches now. Well pleased with purchase and big thanks to killin motorsport in edinburgh for great job and price on supply and fitment.

Why you not fitting it m8? Is it unused?

Was thinking about getting the Autobahn top mount for my sti v3! Does anyone have this or heard anything about it?

Is it a big diference when you go from standard to 340 bhp m8? What kind of torque you running?

Yeah i have a full decat system to be fitted. Thought the top mounts on sti v3 are good for 350 bhp?

Hi guys, Can anyone advise on how i can acheive a reliable 350bhp and a good torque figure on my sti v3? Only engine mods just now is cat back Afterburner vortex with ninja decat downpipe on the way. Was thinking myself of 550 injectors, walbro fuel pump, apexi air filter and adjusting boost. I'm guessing a remap would be advised? Anyway advice would be great guys. Cheers Lee

Think i'll go for the apexi kit sounds good! Does it come with all fittings? Also looking to lower my car guys, just really want to go about 30mm. Having trouble finding springs to do the job and at decent prices!! Anyone help? Cheers

It is a standard ECU m8. I aint fitting a dump valve, heard to many bad stories related to scoobies and bovs. Was just thinking of going for the panel filter and a full exhaust system just now. Is getting a induction kit not really worth it then? I was going to get an hks kit as i like the sound they make when spooling up!

Hi guys was wondering if putting an induction kit on my sti v3 is worth it or just drop in a aftermarket panel filter? Heard that induction kits can maybe cause damage? cheers lee

Hi to all on the forum firstly[]. Just purchased what i've wanted for a few years now, A sti v3 in white, bought the car from down south. It is totally standard apart from rear tints and have to say very good condition. Will post pics later to see what you's think. Looking forward to getting an exhaust on it for the awesome rumble, Any one recommend a good system? Was looking at going for the afterburner vortex centre section and back box! Does anyone have this? If so is it loud? Cheers lee
