Just got back from a day down Exmouth. What a hot day. I basically grew up down there and from what I can remember the Sunday cruises were always pretty great. Today was fairly good too. Cars were pretty much bumper to bumper as expected for such a great day chav-scooby-evo-chav-skyline-scooby-chav-skyline-scooby Saw 3 skylines, 4 or 5 scoobies and a couple of evo's. Any Scoobies down there from the board? I waved to all but only had 2 wave back and one of them really did'nt want to acknowledge me. The other guy had a plate starting MIL I beleive. I've seen this car a couple of times and hes always first to give a wave, GOOD MAN Wonder if hes on the boards. Oh I had a wave from a red Nova too, it was the 2 finger gesture, not sure why though!!!

HPi'd the one i'm interested in last nite, and alls good there, although these are'nt always 100% reliable.

I've found some pictures of pre-facelift scoobs with some different bonnet vents than standard. They are same size, same shape but it looks like they are similar to the facelift model. Thanks for the reply Paul. Your right. I also want to put OEM sideskirts, splitter and bumper spoilers on, just to give it that more road hugging look. Where can I get these parts, is my only bet Subaru themselves. Oh yeah, I also wanna take off the low level boot spoiler and replace it with the STi V6 spoiler, will this go on without modification (boots are the same are'nt they?) and where can i find them (not fibreglass replicas). As both my friend and I are searching for a scooby, I've realised just how many BAD examples are out there. Which is why i really feel I should go for this Type RA I've been out in. My friends had a look at a few and theyve all been dogs, except 1. The one that looked and drove fine, had a clear HPI paper in the hands of the current owner, however after paying for an online HPI check found the car to be a Cat D. It's really hard work buying a scooby.

Great site. I've spent day and night looking for information regarding the type RA's. EXCELLENT. I had a sleepless night on Sunday and had to ring the guy on monday to confirm hes still got the car, I think this is the one! He's promised to hold the car until I say I dont want it.

Hi, I read somewhere that theres a rally (Gumball style) that starts in London then goes onto France-germany-Amsterdam and then finishes in England, down in Exmouth. I even found the official site (the site stated something like, "its like gumball without the £10,000 entry fee. I've searched my history and everything and still cant bleeding find it. PLEASE HELP as i wanna be there

Will a facelift bonnet, with the 2 slot vents either side fit directly onto a 94 impreza? Will the facelift kit fit directly onto a 94 also? thanx in advance

I hope so. All this turbo stuffs new to me and I've been a bit reluctant to go down that road. I realise maintenance is'nt going to be cheap and shortcuts wont be taken. I was surprised when I was told it will do 200 miles on a full tank (heavy driving), my escort only does 230 ish, so I think thats pretty good. My mechanics been all over the car and found no faults (not to say there is'nt any). I hope to learn allot from you this board and its members. But please be patient with some of the "daft" questions I may ask
