Hi Jim, You got the pics. Sorry for the delay. Everything is fine now. On-line now with no probs. If you need to get in touch just pop me an email. Thanks again. Stewart

Just go direct to FSE Glencoe. Bought all my stuff there and was cheaper than anywhere else.

Hi Mate, thanks for that. Will get a set on order. Also like the look of the boot tidy thing. Pretty cheap as well. Thanks again, Stewart

Does anyone know if SIDC seat covers are still available. Didn't see them in the shop. Cheers, S

Hi Edd, First thing I would do is get the car fully serviced incl timing belt no matter how many kms. Also get rid of std fuel pump and replace with walbro and get a fuel pressure reg, something like an fse. I would also do the oil pump when doing the belt just to be on the safe side. Common probs with gearbox is worn synchros. Diff's are pretty solid and should be fine if you're buying a low mileage car. Other than that they are usually very reliable and solid. You can have a look at mine as soon as it's up and running. Shouldn't be to long now. sc

I've got a Version 4 Type R with the following mods. Decat Downpipe. Full 3inch System Greddy Headers Walbro Fuel Pump FSE FPR Roger Clark Oil Pump Light Weight Pulleys Light Weight Flywheel APS Cold Air Intake Samco Hoses Throughout Apexi Power FC Still to mapped by Andy F when car is ready. I'm also thinking of a decent water injection kit and replacing standard intercooler with an STi V8. Standard Engine and Turbo. Will keep you posted on power figures in the near future. SC

Hi Tony, How's the car going? You should have contacted me before fitting Lexus rear lights. I've got a set you could have for free. Also did you get the BIMTA cert's? I got them sent to your address. Hope all is well and will pop through sometime when i get my 2 door up and running. SC

Thanks Gus. You sold the 555? No way. Thought you would have kept that for a while longer. I've got a 2 door type r in Black. I'm keeping this one. It's currently in bits in the garage, waiting for bits to arrive from Japan. Should have it up and running next couple of weeks. SC

Hi Guy's, Not been on the site for a while. Like the new site a lot. Squirrel-I am sure this car is a version 4. It's a late 98 model and has version 4 dash etc. Auction sheet also say's V4. I will be keeping this one until it's sold, whenever that is. Already had a lot of interest in the car. Don't worry I will not be taking it on the road until I change the rear light clusters. In fact the are off already. Couldn't wait. Cheers, SC

Thats what I mean. Modified oil pump.
-
Yeah i've looked into that. Will just go for the lot and replace all the hoses.
-
Will also be fitting an uprated oil pump.
-
Alrighty, cheers Squirrel. So should I fit the thermostat and slam panel instead of the alloy rad or fit the lot? Cheers, SC
-
cheers for that where's the best place to get these from. Think i've seen koyo radiators on e-bay. I am modifying the Type R with reliability in mind so uprating the cooling and oil system first. Then brakes and handling. Cheers, Stewart

Hi, Looking into buying an oil cooler and alloy radiator for my Type R. Can anyone recommend whats good and what to avoid? There is so much stuff on the market these day's. Also looking into a set of headers. Any help appreciated. SC

Same again, nice car. Reckon a set of Bronze Rota Grid's would look the part along with red mudflaps.

Hi Mate, Nice looking car. Could you get the wheels powdercoated white? Just an idea. Think there is a few places that would do it for around 40 quid per wheel. That might be a cheaper option. Cheers, Stewart

modelreports.com There is no specific model report for a 2 door so you have to use a 4 door saloon model report. They are both within the specific weight tolerances. The only ones that are a bit tricky are the early 1997 models but most don't require SVA now anyway. 1998, 1999 and so on are not a problem. Hope this answers your question. Stewart

Hi Peter, I'll need to get a wee shot in the chinese 400. Looks nice and tidy under the bonnet. Will try to pop through to see you some Saturday night. Was through at Cairneyhill last night. I had to change a fuel pump for a customer hence why I was down at greersport. Also popped in for George and Kevin Paris on my way back. There 2 Door Coupe is smart. By the way if you do decide to sell your car will you be selling it with all the mods? Cheers, Stewart.

Hi Dan, I'm from a small town called Torrance 8 miles north of Glasgow. It's between Bishopbriggs and Kirkintilloch. I'm not too far away from you. Cheers, Stewart.
