kloon Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Cracking day oot the day folks, big thanks to Squirrel, Imy and all the other organisers for arranging the day oot. Great turnout, was a bit worried the weather might ruin it but must have still had something like 40-50 cars at perth. Some great driving roads, good banter and plenty snow ! Glensee got a wee bit hairy for a while [] Hope all the folks from "daarn saarf" had a safe journey home, looked like the weather was closing in a bit for the run back across to Crathie. Again, thanks folks [y] Ari. Here's a few pics, i'm sure the budding David Bailey's/Steven Speilberg's will be along soon enough with their pics and videos which i'm really looking forward to as there should be some crackers []
scoobyiain Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Good pics there, looked bloody cold tho. Gutted i missed it, will be the last time i go to the gym before a run i think.

There was such a great turnout that it was difficult to say hi to everyone, but to those I managed to speak to I hope you had a great day . Huge thanks to Tam (Tommy T-Cut) and Brian (Rallye6) for feeding Jackie and I. Tam or should I say Mr Ramsay, yer rolls are the berries ma man[] Here's a few pics we managed to get from the day. Glenshee Craithie Even more arrive at Craithie. Will the car park cope???? Kev's car was clean at Perth[] The Higgmeister. This thing really is that awsome!!!!! Great pics Russ[] and Ari Never mind, managed to get my CBR away[Y] and pick up and fit the V3 interior (and sort a bloody annoying rattle I had[]
scoobyiain Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 I don't think i met anyone today i have not met before appart from derek, too shy to go upto people and say i'm iain. Think everyone should get stickers on the side of thier windows like me and it would be so much easier Think i would have cried anyway if i had gone today by the look of some of the cars there, they got in a right mess []
andy Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Glad you lot had a good day out. I was really looking forward to this, but my folks are in the process of moving house. The emails from my Mum with regular updates as to decorating etc starting with "I'm not having a go, but..." (no surer sign that she actually is having a go!) combined with the Mothers Day thing meant family came first. My folks won't be around forever and there'll be other runs. []
jcscoob Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Looks like a great day oot folks[] well done Imy, grant and co[y] Maybe the next time i will have a new car !! []
col666 Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 What a great day,big thanks to Imy and Grunt for the route. Good to see all the old faces. The unhinged group was as mad as ever, glad i managed to keep up in my 'standard' car although I did have one spin and a huge airborne moment! Best moment of the day was going airborne over glenshee with a VW Lupo coming towards me waving like mad, turns out the driver was my mate (markymark on here) and his wife, the mate that i bought the subaru off of a month ago!! Only took a couple of pics as it was too bloody cold! A wee prayer before we set off Col.
cullenmin Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Ouch Col, that spin must hav been nasty edit - oops just noticed it aint your car Rich

Sorry to Coulty for the damage to his rear bumper, caused by my front bumper nudging him all the way round the run[] A couple of pics from me. Coulty feeling the cold for a change!! Higgy thinks this is a good day!! Higgy gets the front wheels up. Higgy goes up the way!! Picture of the day i think.
