T123VOR Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 I bought scooby number 3 It was too much seeing Steve and S8SI F's stunning white Type R and the whole McRae thing got to be me so... You only live once UK STI PPP only 9k on the clock The previous owner had it modded and mapped at Zen to a claimed 380bhp Here's some of the upgrades : 05 20G Turbo Hyperflow Top Mount Intercooler Turbo Smart blow off valve Modified standard air intake with green panel filter e-Boost 2 boost controller PPP fuel pump Roger Clark tubular manifold and venture up pipe (wrapped) Milltek 3" exhaust with high flow cat and centre resonator (very quiet!) Full Zen Performance re-map Performance Friction 2 piece spot drilled front discs DBA slotted rear discs Ferodo DS2500 pads front and rear Goodridge stainless braided hoses all round Millers DOT 4 brake fluid Pro Drive springs H & R anti roll bars front and rear. 22mm / 25mm. Agency Power CNC aluminium anti roll bar links front and rear Carbon Fibre front strut brace Work Emotion CR Kai 8.5 x 18" Alloys Rays forged aluminium nuts with lock nut Dunlop Sport Maxx 235/40ZR18 95Y (4500 miles) Scott Lowe carbon rear spoiler Scott Lowe lip spoiler painted body colour Front and rear STI mud flaps Scott Lowe carbon fibre bonnet lifters So all that means I don't have to upgrade or mod anything right? However!!! The stereos got to go, I'll probably detango the front lights and MAYBE it needs lowering Good to see everyone last night- Shiralee love the colour and the noise! And i want Daisy's dog Molly It's been emotional PS Blue is the fastest colour

darryl_martin Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 (edited) Cheers DarylWhat's your suspension set-up on the Spec c as i like your height I'd never really noticed a difference in height until I saw one of the pics you took on the motorway on the way to the gathering lol!! The standard stuff was way too hard and knocking like a good'un so I went with AST. Well pleased with it, much quieter and adjustable too. Don't normally have it on the stiffest settings, far from it, but ran it for a few miles on the softest setting and it was like driving a jelly lol!! Wheels look great btw, and the Miltek is quite quiet but does liven up a bit when you get going. Perfect for me as I don't have any soundproofing and everything is 10 times louder!!! ASTs i remember HOL saying these were the business too- that sort of money though it can wait- if at all!! may just get shorter springs in the meantime or some S/H coilovers but the problem i have is my drive has no kerb drop so the lipspoiler already scrapes- not a nice sound...
granby Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Good to see you back Trevor , was thinking about your suspension today as you may have problems if you lower it with that wheel & tyre setup as they may rub on the arches
