craig mac Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Sandy A lot of the hotels/digs etc will be crammed at the moment due to all the back log of the offshore boys due to fog offshore I know this does not help but it maybe explains why everyone is choka m8

sandycam Posted June 7, 2007 Author Posted June 7, 2007 Got booked in gordons, thanks again for all the help!
sandycam Posted June 15, 2007 Author Posted June 15, 2007 just an update, lasted an hour in gordons before we booked out, bit of a tip in the rooms, bits falling off walls/roof and door locks burst etc! Cheers sc.
kevin_rhind Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 The Gordons is about as good as you'll get at short notice in Aberdeen, for some reason everywhere is booked solid.
sandycam Posted June 19, 2007 Author Posted June 19, 2007 Quote The Gordons is about as good as you'll get at short notice in Aberdeen, for some reason everywhere is booked solid. Yea no where else had room but would have had a mega sore ear come the morning if i hadn't checked out and gone to perth lol!
gogsie Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Pity I hadn't seen this earlier or I could have warned you about the Gordon's! I drink in there occasionaly being a Kincorth Loon, but the wife's work used it for a visiting workmate and swore never to use it again. Reckoned there was mould on the walls and everything. She has someone up in Aberdeen at the moment for training and had problems getting a room. Got a room at the Inn at the Park. Sorry about that, I guess it spoiled your visit. They must have an idea the place is a pit when everywhere else is booked up and there not.
sandycam Posted June 20, 2007 Author Posted June 20, 2007 don't worry about it, it all turned out good in the end! Got a cayenne as a courtesy car so a wee jaunt down the carriageway wasn't a big deal as we'd checked in fairly early, luckily enough[] Aberdeen seems to be a nightmare to get a room, no matter if you want a cheap or a dear one.
