Took my car to Walldonway today for anual service and they advised me to buy 4 new tyres so I have been looking around on some old posts and see that most people recommend Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 or Toyo Proxes T1-S.

 I currently have Bridgestone REO11's (215/45/17/87W) which are fine but it appears that the others are better. I found that someone (msiviter) had posted:

 By the way, if anyone is interested Walldonway have an RB320 demonstrator!! [au]. I was tempted to have a go in it but felt too embarrased to ask as I couldn't possibly afford one (yet!).

Have you tried Elite Tyres in Dagenham / Rainham.........you get a tunnel run then thrown in for nothing (well ok then a quid!)

Sounds like a good idea, it's just not as much fun on your own. I'll look them up to see if they have a website. Any comments of which tyres to invest in?

We brought our Toyos Proxys through Blackcircles about september time and we only paid just under 100 per tyre including fitting/balancing. They were really good to deal with as well and they let you choose the most convenient fitting centre local to you.[Y]
