STi_Bandit Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Got a Sunstrip made up by Neofox which id like to get on the car, we gave it a shot at the weekend but decided we needed a little be more skill, and rather then destroy the one thats made up just roll it back up and get a professional to do. Anyone on here good at fitting sunstrips and would like a hand please be my guest Bandit
z1000 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Wise choice martin, bought one for a couple of quid on ebay a while back and made a complete **** of fitting it, more bubbles than an aero ! Not as easy as u'd think.
gus the bus Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 The secret is putting just enough of a "mist" of water on your screen to allow you to adjust on the screen and having an art knife to trim the sunstrip around the edges once fitted. Bandit, if you can do brake pads you can deffo do a sunstrip[]
z1000 Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Jobs that require hammers i can do but i tried the water and i just don't have the patience. Also found it a pain at traffic lights if ur right under them.
