sandyRS16i Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 lol, no luck there. remember you can always get another wife, but can you find another car thats built to the exact same spec as yours
scoobyiain Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 My other half would come before my car anyday of the week. she comes before my job, the house, car anything
z1000 Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 There's a sure fire way to stop all the moaning just pack her bags and turf her out then u'll have all the time and money u like to spend on the car.
billyboy Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Petter Solberg puts rallying before his family, tale a leaf out of his book.LOL
wheelchairscooby Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 as if she gives a toss all the shopping she can do with his wages
big den Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Just let the wife get her own scoob - problem solved. [] & yes she does b4 anyone asks []
girl-in-a-scoob Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I have the same problem. My other half feels I love the car more than him.... Shhhhh dont tell him the truth
micra_wrc Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 agree with Big Den's suggestion of getting a scoob for her. Its great having a 2-scoob household [] although if she's not up for that, i would say choose the missus rather than your own car
fai17 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I'll take the scooby but the car can't wood the dishes, wash you clothes, get you kids washed and various house hold crap!!!!! So tbh you really need both.[]
scoobaroo Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I'll take the scooby but the car can't wood the dishes, wash you clothes, get you kids washed and various house hold crap!!!!! So tbh you really need both.[] A nice young French "Au Pair" would sort that lot out for you Peter [] Heres a wee link to get you sorted http://www.frenchaupairs.com/ Marty.
fai17 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Sound like a really good idea but probably cost more then the wife.....[]
scoobaroo Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 You should really be able to trade them in if you ask me [] skirts, splitters, twin 40`s,new dials and dont forget to get her lowered as she handles better [Y] Marty.
scoobzie Posted May 27, 2007 Author Posted May 27, 2007 she is tempted bye the idea of her own scooby so will look at someover the holidays and see what is around for the money cheers guy scoobzie
micra_wrc Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 it doesnt have to be an Impreza, the Legacy and Forester are good cars as well []
scoobyiain Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 imho some of the replies have shocked me. come on guys nothing is worth loosing the woman you love.
micra_wrc Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 agree with Iain but didnt want to post it. as a female i know what its like when the scoob comes before you in yer man's life and its even harder for most women, as we dont all like fast cars and "get" how obsessive & expensive it can be [^o)]
marky.t.s Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 imho some of the replies have shocked me. come on guys nothing is worth loosing the woman you love. iain,i would take some of the previous comments with a pinch of salt mate,i'll bet all the "big" men are all under the thumb(like me ,lol.) they can say anything they want on here and there other halves wouldnt know, and if they did they'd be the ones packin' their bags, lol.
z1000 Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Think my ex is more gutted about selling her scoob than moving out so it goes both ways [:'(] but i've got the last laugh now [] and she's totally [+o(] with envy. Did let her have a shot though [A]
scoobyiain Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Not very "big" saying things like that on a computer if the other half does not know about it imo. I'm not under the thumb, i just know what would annoy alison and don't do or say certain things that would upset her. I get 2 weekends off out of 8 and if my mates text me asking me to go out i say no as i know alison would like to spend time with me. She has her horses and i have my car cleaning for hobbies and are very understanding of this

scoobyiain Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 lol she would let me but i'm scared to death of horses so stay clear
spooks Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I have said on many occasions that I loved my old car more than I love rosie, however nothing could be further from the truth.............. just dont tell her eh [] Now whats the more expensive, missus or scoob ........... Missus wins that one hands down [:^)]
scientific steve Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 well i HATE football and my girlfriend is a huge fan (not going to say what team but they are the scots champs again []) but i'll go to the pub and shout when needed when watching a game with her and ny girlfriend HATES my car but enjoys going round knockhill in it at the end of the day it's all about compromise everybody has different things that they'll like and want to do, this is a part of what makes us so appealing to each other, aint it ????? sooooo find a balance, by all means keep the car BUT do something for her too
