Right got the Apexi on and the Scoobyecu on and its pulling like a steam train( the Apexi sounds fackin mental)[Y] (canny wait to get the DP fitted now).

HOWEVER, I still have a flat spot/hesitation on occasions and had one or two misfires whilst pushing it on whilst out for its first wee blast. Had the problem (now and again) before the upgrades but its more noticeable(regular) now.[:'(]

Is the MAF fecked or what else could it be? coilpacks? Plugs were done less than 500 miles ago and timing belt etc...has been changed at the same time

No cel light activated btw.

Just been oot fur another wee blast and it only seems to happen above 4000-4500rpm [:S] Pulls beautifully up to that [:)] and once it gets past the "blip" it pulls even harder[*-)]

I'd be inclined to eliminate the plugs first since it's a quick and easy job to do. Reason for this is that the fault only happens at a certain point.

If it was coilpacks, you would more than likely have the fault all the time, though of course they can break down only under load.

Check the leads for signs of corrosion inside the ends if they look like they've had a life and maybe brittle as well.

All sorted![:D] went to take the coil packs off to check each of the plugs to find a bit of deterioration in all of them. Luckily, managed to get a full set of month old ones from S:NET delivered next day[Y] fired them on and now its pulling like a train right through every gear[:D] Downpipe on next Friday and all set up from there[H]

Meez happy!
