burning oil smell

hi lookin for some advice, after drivin i have a smell of burnin oil, it is not using oil tho, also watchin the apexi the knock bit is goin up to 42deg at say 50mph just slight acceleration

was wanting to go to the rolling road on sat and put it on, do u think this is a good idea or is it just me bein paranoid?

Possiblty oil from the Cam gasket seeping onto the headers

Increased Knock level could be connected if it is pulling the oil vapours into the engine through the induction but other factors like a failing O2, Lambda sensor or Air leak.  Probably best to get it checked out before putting it on the rollers
