Diddy Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I was having some hesitation on full boost that was driving me bonkers and on full inspection I found one of my coilpacks was in half as well as one of the plugs had cracked. So I got a new coilpack and 4 new platinum plugs and while I was at it upgraded to the Z4 ecu from later WRX's for more boost and smoothness. All I can say is WOW, the Scoob actually scares me now and this is only running approx 260bhp at a guess....I love these cars, fantastic, fast and scary! hehe! Bring on a meet so I can see even more of them
granby Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Glad you got it sorted [Y] don't worry though as you'll soon get used to it and want more power []
Diddy Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 2nd and 3rd are just too brutal atm and I love it to pieces, a true flying machine!
Dalthegooner Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Nice one [Y] Glad it was a simple fix, and as Granby said you'll soon be wanting more []
HOL Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 You will start to think there is something wrong next, as you get in the car and think 'im ure it used to be faster than this'. But, you ghave just got used to it. Dont neglect the brakes though. Choose a nice quiet dual carriage way with one one around, accellerate and see how quick you could stop/slow to under 40 before an imaginary roundabout/right turn.
