brian_paterson Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Hi all Have been out in my 2000 turbo (2000reg) wagon and noticed at low revs it is a bit shuddery when pressing accelerater lightly usually in forth (its fine above 2500rpm)!! Also earlier tonight had dropped a gear to over take a 150 year old driving a fiesta on stockiemuir rd, when car a had a lul in power can anyone give me some suggestion as to what this could be? Thinking its either a missfire or fuel pump problem??? Car dependent I'll be up for the weekend with all you going to meet with unabomber!!

colin_ross Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 99 and 2000 cars are infamous for blowing maf sensors. This can casue all sorts of misfires/judders and blown engines. Have a look in the faq section on how to do a recu reset and see if it shows a cel error.
