hello chaps , could any one tell me if seats from a 2003 impreza will fit a year 2000 classic or will they ned to be shoe horned in with loads of fuss and nonsense that would make it not worth the effort.

Thanks

No idea I'm afraid, although there's no doubt someone here who will be able to tell you.

By the way welcome to Kent Scoobies. There's a thread on page 2 of the Kent home site "Kent Scoobies, please sign in......" and if you haven't already done so stuff your introduction on there and you'll get all of the mad people in the club introduce themselves. They are all mad, the voices in my head tell me they are............................[:(]

I know the swop can be done but, as far as I know, its not straightforward. If I remember correctly you need to change the runners on the front seats and the back seats are a bit of a squeeze but use the same fixing mounts (Although I'm ready to be shot down in flames on this [:(]).

New age seats are bigger and do require a lot of fiddling and changing of runners etc. to get right and it's a very tight squeeze - I was told this when I enquired.  At the end of the day it all depends on how much patience you have lol, also you'll have the problem of the rest of the interior not matching.....

They do fit all you have to do is change the runners on the front seat and as said by Dal the rears are a little tight !!!!

Easy job should only take and hour tops

hope this helps
