luke_clifton Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Okay afew days ago i got a friend phone up and tell me to keep an eye on my car as he got word that the wrong kind of people had spotted it. Anyway diden't think too much of it, but tobe on the safe side i decided to get afew quotes on a cat1 alarm (hence my last post). Tonight i get a phone call from another friend and he tells me the same thing, and that there is some people going to my front door to ask about it TONIGHT (i.e who owns it do i want to sell it etc etc). About 8:30 i get a call from my father (who knows nothing about the phone calls) saying 2 people came around asking about my car.... FOOK ME i totally s*** myself[:$] and rushed home asap, got home about 9:20 and sure enough there was 4 people standing near my car wearing dark clothes all with either hats or hoodies. Panic totally set in and i ran and got in my car[:$][:$] (i know the most stupidist thing ever), they all split up in different directions and fled (luckily). So now my poor baby is under ground in a max security carpark hiding and cowering. I am still shaking from it all now and can't believe how lucky i've been tonight. Think i owe a few drinks!!!!! Feel like the most luckiest person on here tonight, hope i have it back out in time for may 6th[:S]
baser999 Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 That is un-nerving I agree. Any chance you can rent yourself a garage locally? Any little old ladies living nearby with a garage ?
woody-cdas Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Sympathise with you mate, I gave up a job - alright I didn't like the job mind but anyway. where I was parking my car (outside my brothers) he had been told by his neighbour that 3 or 4 guys had been round at different times during the week looking at my car and acting suspicious. Nothing happened thank god and by the end of the week i left the job and stopped parking it there but it was equally unnerving.[:$] Getting a garage is gonna be the best option mate.
glen_miller Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Offer them a ride in your motor and drive it too some woods where every Subaru owner is waiting?
darryl_martin Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Scary stuff mate, but if your friends are tipped off can't you find out who these people are? Hope you don't have too much more trouble
luke_clifton Posted April 14, 2007 Author Posted April 14, 2007 I do know these people... some apparent old friends[:@] (can't trust no one). These are not the kind of people to mess with though, and they told my friend that when they next see the car there taking it whether i'm in it or not. F****** P***** me off as i've not done a singe thing to them, my brother has apparently annoyed them (his not done anything, these people are pikey t****) recently but why bring that s*** to me. Even been asking where i work!!!! [:@][:@][:@]
Nudge Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 F*** me sideways, that aint right, the old bill probably wont give a tos either as no crime has been commited, your doing the right thing keeping her out of the heat for a while. If they do try it on, dont put yourself at risk mate, keep safe

If they're that easily annoyed, hopefully someone else will annoy them soon and they'll move on.
glen_miller Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 I can get a few pals together and go and solve the problem for you if you like?(i'm not 17 btw!) I've just re-read my post and thought 'what a kn*b!' pmsl!
luke_clifton Posted April 17, 2007 Author Posted April 17, 2007 Okay things have got really out of hand now. First i've had to leave my job, but they are being really good about the whole ordeal and have said i can come back in 3 weeks or i can transfer somewhere else. Now my other brother has recieved threatening calls and so has my father (they saying that there going to take his house from him i.e: burn it down). They have been threatening me through other people, and have said they know where i am staying and coming to get me tonight........ all this shit is getting way out of hand now, really wanna get the police involved but if they do nothing things wil get VERY bad very quickly. can safely say my car is no longer safe in maidstone/kent anymore... don't fancy selling it because of low life scum..... [:@][:@][:@][:'(]
granby Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Police have got to be involved now, contact them straight away and inform them of everything that has happened

woody-cdas Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 M8 - you have to get the police involved like Granby said. Whatever else you do mate don't take any chances these people cannot be messed with. Stay safe & let us know what happens & what the police say. Good luck.
