the blue dragon Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Im no very technically minded mate, but im no sure if thats a good idea. [] Although(as i often am, ) i may be wrong in which case ill shut up.[:$] cheers Iain
frank c Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I was reliably informed to remove the bottom half of the air box in the inner wing to help it breath better..It was before i took the car to get mapped .
jae Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I really would'nt do away with the air filter all together, you always need clean air [] I have a HKS mushroom filter on mine and sometimes I feel the need to put the standard air box on with just an upgraded filter....
iainc Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 You might want to fit an induction kit or an aftermarket panel filter but I wouldn't run for long without any air filter at all. It will work for a short time... and potentially never again afterwards.
ed-209 Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Don't do it mate... As said above... or say goodbye to your MAF sensor... along with all the other possible problems. think of a sand blaster and the mess that makes.
colzo Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 It`s there for a reason. No air filter = expensive bill! [N]
