C J K Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Had car 4 weeks('94 jdm classic),have had a rocker gaskets changed ,cambelt/tensioners,cam seals all done ,oil changed ...tonight I gave it some stick for the 1st time ........medium quick into a roundabout and instead of a wash out understeer moment(which i expected) it starts a kinda very quick bobbing, like right I'm gonna understeer aw wait a split second I'm not gonna do that i'm gonna turn in,well maybe not....you get the picture[:^)].Pretty sh1tty feeling to be honest, sti struts, alloy wishbones no up graded arb or d/links no strut brace, does this sound like I simply need the alignment done or what? ooooohh and 10 minutes after this the n/s front caliper semi seized on(ye ever wished u'd just hung off and bought summit newer[:$][][] ta,Col
euan_r Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 not sure what u mean by bobbing tbh. they just want to understeer and handlings pretty shit tbh full stop, but four wheels drive makes up for this, somewhat.
C J K Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 Bobbing-wee quick bouncy action,does it right and left.
cullenmin Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 If you were to get a geometry setup then this would maybe solve or at least find a fault with your suspension gubbins! Rich
euan_r Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 as in car bouncing up and down when turning, if so sounds like it could be tired dampers.
