clunking from the front

hi folks,

 

any ideas on what this could be - on 'smooth' roads the car is fine but going over'bumpier' roads there is a clunk every so often at the front.

what could it be? struts?

I have the same problem on my Classic from the rear.

These sort of things can be hard to narrow down.  If your suspension seems to go up and down ok and there is not sign of leaking, then other possabilities could be bush or droplinks.

I have mine booked in to get sorted(assuming we find thee reason) next week.  Until then its pump the music up so I cant hear it!

I would have said struts mate

If i were you I would go out with a mate and try to determine where the noise is coming from so you know where to start looking

most likley to be the d/links  if not that test top mounts and arb bushes m8
