rabskyline Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 as above. got three gauges for pillar mount and have senders...gaugeplace sell the adapters but not 100% sure where to mount them !
tosh 32 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 you got to strip off the inter cooler to get to it i just ordered a oil filter sandwich plate as the oil temp and pressure senders fit right into it alot better to install with no strippin down
st3ph3n Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Getting the temp from above cylinder 3 gives you a higher temp reading as that's where the engine is warmest. I asked around for some advice and was told that was the best place to put it. I can't find the instructions I had for it, but I think there was a guide over on NASIOC. IC off, find the oil gallery, install the oil gallery plug, screw the sensor into that. Certainly the way it works on a new age.
rabskyline Posted March 24, 2007 Author Posted March 24, 2007 cheers...i will endeavour to find some pics as to where it screws into ! the water temp should be on top hose if i am informed correctly !
