New user- after advice

Good evening all, as of tomorrow I will be driving my Mum's car. This is only because I just sold mine! I have £7000 or there abouts burning a hole in my pocket- took most of a year to save this. Anyways I'm after a 'classic turbo 2000 wagon' something around 00/01, between 40-50k. I've seen Ian Grieves (Falkirk) has a 00 on 50k for £8000 but this seems a bit steep. I'm looking for some advice on what I should/could get for my money. The right places to look etc.
