C J K Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Done to death i Know but ma heids spinning searching on scoobynet and here, looking for a definitive answer[] 94 jdm(Hisoobs auld car) 160000 miles ish full decat, high flow filter funky prova ecu which oil for a motor with that kinda high mileage and state of tune, was gonna wait till i got rocker gasket changed(which is proving a hassle to get done but thats another story) but i really, naw really need to do it asap, its like underseal clinging to the dip stick. thanks,Colin
wilky Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 In my impreza which is modded and in my leggy which is mildly tuned I use 10w60 fully synthetic which has never let me down. I use castrol edge. Some will argue that you are better off with a heavier "cold" viscosity and if you decide thats what you want the 15w50 is what people go for, either silokene or motul. If you want a recommendation I would say any good synthetic 10w60 is the way ahead. Callum W
